Swing check valve, also known as one-way valve or check valve, is used to prevent the backflow of medium in the pipeline. The valve whose opening and closing parts open or close automatically by medium flow and force to prevent medium backflow is called check valve. The check valve is an automatic valve, which is mainly used on the pipeline with one-way flow of medium. The medium is only allowed to flow in one direction to prevent accidents. The swing check valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.

Swing check valve adopts the built-in rocker swing structure. All the opening and closing parts of swing check valve are installed inside the valve body and do not penetrate the valve body. Except for the sealing gasket and sealing ring used at the middle flange, the whole swing check valve has no external leakage points to eliminate the possibility of valve leakage. The connection between the rocker arm and the valve disc of swing check valve adopts a spherical connection structure, so that the valve disc has a certain degree of freedom within 360 degrees and has appropriate micro position compensation.

The valve disc of swing check valve is disc-shaped and rotates around the rotating shaft of the valve seat channel. Because the channel in the valve is streamlined and the flow resistance is smaller than that of the lifting check valve, it is suitable for large-diameter occasions with low flow rate and infrequent flow change, but it is not suitable for pulsating flow, and its sealing performance is not as good as that of the lifting check valve. The swing check valve is divided into single lobe type, double lobe type and multi lobe type. These three forms are mainly divided according to the valve diameter to prevent the hydraulic impact from being weakened when the medium stops flowing or flows back.
